North Dakota Troopers Association

Welcome to the North Dakota Troopers Association home page. The NDTA was formed and received its articles of incorporation in 1998. The objectives of our organization are:

  • To promote and maintain the good name of North Dakota Highway Patrol.
  • To foster and encourage a high degree of morale, skill and efficiency therein.
  • To cultivate friendship, fellowship, trust and understanding among all members of the patrol.
  • To improve the social and economic welfare of the members.
  • To promote and encourage better law enforcement in the state of North Dakota.
  • To be aware and concerned with proposed legislation which may affect general law enforcement or members of this association.
  • To protect its members against injustice.
  • To provide a method of representation of the interests of the membership before such boards, commissions, department heads, or legislative bodies or other persons or groups as may be necessary to further the goals set by the association and the state patrol.
  • To promote, foster and perpetuate any project which will help to bring professional recognition to the members of this trooper association.

The North Dakota Troopers Association proudly supports the following organizations in North Dakota.

  • North Dakota Special Olympics
  • SADD-North Dakota Chapter (students against destructive decisions)
