It has been brought to our attention that some groups have been soliciting money in the name of the ND Troopers Association or ND Troopers. The NDTA (North Dakota Troopers Association) DOES NOT USE TELEMARKETERS/TELEMARKETING OF ANY KIND TO SOLICIT DONATIONS. It is disturbing to learn that organizations are soliciting money under the name of the NDTA or the North Dakota Troopers.

The NDTA raises funds three ways:

• Selling Sponsorship, done by personal contact, to businesses and individuals
• Selling magazine ads directly to businesses- done by phone or personal contact by an NDTA member or their spouse.
• Membership dues

The NDTA as an organization does not support nor tolerate any agency that abuses the name of the NDTA, North Dakota Highway Patrol or ND Troopers. We suggest that any suspicious calls be immediately reported to the ND Attorney General Consumer Protection Division at: www.ag.state.nd.us/CPAT/CPAT.htm
